Subject: Notification for the extension for filing comments on scope of the product under consideration and product control numbers methodology - reg.

Reference: Anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of “Ethylene Diamine” (EDA) originating in or exported from China PR, European Union, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Taiwan.

1. Attention of all the interested parties is invited to the above-mentioned investigation initiated on 25th March 2025 vide Initiation Notification No. 6/05/2025-DGTR. The non-confidential version (NCV) of the application filed by the domestic industry was circulated to the interested parties vide email dated 28th March 2025. Whereby, the interested parties were granted an opportunity to present their comments on the scope of the product under consideration (PUC), and product control numbers (PCNs), if required, within a period of 15 days from the date of the circulation of the NCV of the application, which ended on 9th April 2025. However, an interested party has requested the extension of time for filing their comments on the scope of the PUC and PCN methodology with respect to the present investigation.

2. In this context, the Authority reviewed the same and has decided to grant an additional 7 days extension from the date of this notification i.e., 23rd April, 2025
   for filing the comments, if any, from interested parties on the scope of the PUC and PCN in the captioned subject matter.

3. As trade remedial investigations are time-bound, no further extension of time will be granted for submitting the aforementioned comments.

4. This issues with the approval of the Designated Authority.
