Subject: PUC/PCN Methodology in the Mid-term Review of the anti-dumping duties

concerning imports of “Jute Products” originating in or exported from Bangladesh and Nepal

1. This refers to the initiation notification dated 30th June 2025 in the subject investigation vide which the Authority had solicited comments on the scope of PUC and PCN methodology from the interested parties.

2. The Authority has examined the submissions made by the domestic industry and the other interested parties.

3. As regards the scope of the product under consideration, the Authority clarifies that the scope of the product under consideration remains the same as defined in the initiation notification.

4. After examination of the comments received from the interested parties and past investigations held on the subject goods, the following PCN methodology is adopted for jute yarn/twine.

5. With respect to adopting the PCN methodology for the other three product types i.e., Sacking Cloth, Sacking Bag, and Hessian Fabric, the authority found no merit in the arguments presented by the interested parties. Consequently, no PCN methodology is being adopted for these products.

6. Accordingly, the interested parties are advised to file their questionnaire response within 15 days of the publication of this notice on the DGTR website.

7. No further extension of time will be granted by the Authority to file the questionnaire responses.
