Subject: Regarding PCN Methodology in the Sunset Review of the anti-dumping

duties in force on the imports of “Jute Products” (Jute Yarn/twine, Sacking cloth, Sacking bag and Hessian Fabric) originating in or exported from Bangladesh and Nepal.

1. This refers to the initiation notification dated 28th June, 2021 in the captioned/subject investigation vide which the Authority had solicited comments on PCN’s from the interested parties for fair comparisions to evaluate incidence of dumping and consequential injury.

2. After taking note of the comments received from the interested parties thereon, the Authority proposed a PCN-methodology vide its letter dated 18th August 2021.

3. Comments of the interested parties on the said methodology were sought by 25 August

4. After examining the comments by the interested parties the following PCN- methodology is being adopted by the Authority for the first product type i.e. Jute Yarn/twine (multiple folded/cabled and single) in the subject investigation.

4. As regards the other three product types i.e. Sacking Cloth, Sacking Bag and Hessian Fabric, the necessity of PCNs has not been claimed by any of the interested parties and, therefore, no PCNs for these three types are being adopted.

5. In view of the above, you are now requested to file Questionnaire responses in accordance with the above PCN-methodology by 27th October 2021. No extension of time will be given by the Authority to file the questionnaire responses.

6. This issues with the approval of the Designated Authority.
