Subject: Regarding PCN Methodology in the Sunset Review of the anti-dumping
duties in force on the imports of “Jute Products” originating in or exported from Bangladesh and Nepal.

This refers to the initiation notification dated 28th June, 2021 in the captioned/subject investigation vide which the Authority had solicited comments on PCN’s from the interested parties for fair comparisions to evaluate incidence of dumping and consequential injury.

Necessity of PCNs in Hessian Fabric, Jute Sacking Cloth and Jute Sacking Bag have not been claimed by the IPs. Hence no PCNs are being proposed for adoption in Hessian Fabric, Jute Sacking Cloth and Jute Sacking Bag.

Accordingly, the interested parties are advised to offer their comments on the above mentioned PCN methodology by 25th August, 2021. No extension of time to offer comments on the proposed PCNs would be entertained. The Authority would provide 30 days’ time to file Questionnaire responses after finalization of PCNs.
