Subject: Timeline to file Questionnaire Response in Anti-Circumvention Investigation on the imports of Jute Sacking Bags from Bangladesh initiated vide Notification No. 7/3/2018-DGAD dated 20" March, 2018.

Reference above subject. Various producers/exporters of the product under investigation from Bangladesh have again requested for extending the timeline to file questionnaire response in the abovementioned case. Vide letter No. 7/3/2018 dated 24" April 2018, the last date to file questionnaire response by Exporters/Importers/All Interested Parties was clarified as 23" May 2018 i.e. 40 days from the date of issue of letter to all interested - parties ive. 13“ April, 2018. This letter was also uploaded on DGAD’s website (www.dgtr.gov.in). The Questionnaire was provided to the High Commission of Bangladesh with a request to provide the same to all producers/exporters interested for filing the response. The letters to all known exporters/importers were sent by post on 13" April, 2018.

The Authority taking note of interest of various producers/exporters to participate and their request for extension of time has considered to grant extension of time to file response to Questionnaire by 8" June, 2018. All interested parties may therefore file response by 8" June, 2018. This extension by the Authority is the final extension and no further extension would be granted as sufficient time has now being granted. The investigation is time-bound and requires analysis of wide range of issues. Any requests for further extension would not be considered and acknowledged.
