NOTICE FOR AUCTION FOR DISPOSAL OF OBSOLETE /UNSERVICEABLE GOODS/ SCRAP IN “AS IS WHERE IS CONDITION”.

This Office intends to dispose-off unserviceable various office articles including furniture, chairs, tables, almirah, cupboards, cabinets and other miscellaneous items etc., lying in the central courtyard of New Custom House by way of auction on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”. These unserviceable articles to be disposed off through auction are enclosed as Annexure I. The reserve price of the goods in this auction is fixed at Rs. 50,000/-. The unserviceable articles are accumulated in a heap at one place and the numbers of items as shown in the Annexure I, are in close approximation.
2. Interested bidders may inspect the goods on any day from 19.01.2018 to 23.01.2018 between 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM.
3. All the interested bidders are requested to submit their offers/bids in sealed covers addressed to the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, CHS, New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai, latest by 24.01.2018 till 2.00 PM.
4. Any bid offering the price of the goods below the reserved price i.e. Rs. 50000/- will be out rightly rejected.
5. Tender/Bids will be opened at 03.00 Pm on 24.01.2018 in the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, CHS, New Custom House, Ballard Estate, Mumbai. The highest bidder will be awarded the bid materials. The bidders are welcome to come and witness the opening of tender/bids.
6. Firm will have to submit EMD of Rs.1000/- at the time of auction.
7. The successful party will have to make payment of auctioned items immediately after his bid is accepted and will have to remove the articles from New Custom House on the same day. The party will be permitted to remove the items only after full and final payment of the bid.

8. Release order for delivery of the disposed off goods shall be made only after receipt of the full bid price. The payment should be made in form of Bank Draft Drawn on any nationalized bank in the name of RBI, Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai.

9. No Assistance will be provided by this department for Loading/Unloading of stores.
