R. 2 1 3 , - In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec t ion 28A read wi th clause ( a ) , ( b ) , ( e} and ( d i of' s u b-section 2 o f Section 27A of the I ndian Boilers Ac t , 1 923 ( 5 0f 1 923), and in s u persessi o n of' the Central Boile rs Board ( Nom n m ation if M e m b ers) Rules, 2003, excep t as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central C i@veriment hereby makes th e following r u les, namely ;- Short title and commencement.- ( I) These rules may be called the Central Boilers Board (NoҨmination ot Members) Rules, 200 8 ( 2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette, Definitions.- In t hese rules, unl ess the context otherwise re q u ires, - (a) " Act " means the Indian Boilers Act, 1923 (a of 1 923):
