TRACER CIRCULAR

It is informed that this section is trying to locate some files/documents/test reports for finalization of pending bills of entry for Final Assessment. Sincere efforts have been made to trace at assessment group level, however, the required documents for finalisation of bills of entry are still not traceable.

2.   In this connection, all Sections of Customs House, Mundra are hereby requested to
   

make efforts to trace/search for the Test Reports, Show Cause Notices, Orders-in- Original and other relevant documents pertaining to Bills of Entry listed in the enclosed Annexure. If such documents are available or traced, the same may kindly be forwarded to this Section within 07 days from the date of issuance of this Tracer Notice. In case no information/documents are received within the stipulated period, it shall be presumed that no such documents are available in respect of the concerned Bill of Entry, and this Section shall proceed with finalisation of the subject Bills of Entry on the basis of records available.

3.   The concerned importers/customs brokers are also advised to submit copies of the
   

Test Reports, Show Cause Notices, Orders-in-Original or any other relevant documents available with them to enable finalization of the pending Bills of Entry.

This issues with approval of the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Import Assessment, Mundra.
