Subject: Implementation of GST in Customs- 24*7 Helpdesk at NCH – Reg.

    To ensure smooth implementation of GST in Customs and extend all possible 

facilitation to trade, industry & other stakeholders, a helpdesk team consisting of senior officers is constituted at NCH to attend on urgent basis any issue/problem and provide guidance on any of the following areas of work mentioned in PN 71/2017, 72/2017 & 76/2017.

i. Bills of Entry related issues ii. Shipping Bill and GSTIN Entry identification iii. Export Invoice term & Item iv. Change in Drawback Declarations v. Containers Details and Transitory Provisions for BE vi. Levy and Collections of IGST and Declarations of CETH vii. IGST Rates viii. CVD Rates ix. Compensation Cess Rates x. NCCD Rates xi. Others Cesses xii. Miscellaneous

2. Date Wise Allocation of Work for the teams
   From 1st July to 3rd July both Teams (1&2) will work and then afterwards on alternate days as mentioned below. Team 1:- From 1st to 3rd July and then on even No. of days i.e. 4 July, 6 July, 8 July onwards. Team 2:- From 1st to 3rd July and then on odd No. of days i.e. 5 July, 7 July, 9 July onwards.

All the admin incharge of Import/Export Docks DC/ACs are being included in the above helpdesk. The contact details of Docks DC/ACs are already available in public domain. The helpdesk will provide 24*7 support to all concerned in respect of procedural or technical issues/problem/queries pertaining to GST in Customs.

3. A link has been created on home page of Mumbai Customs Zone 1 website - www.mumbaicustomszone1.gov.in , to provide all updated information and materials on GST in Customs, to further facilitate the trade.

Further, the icegate helpdesk No:-1800-3010-100, email ID- icegatehelpdesk@icegate.gov.in and team.ices@icegate.gov.in will also be available 24*7 for all concerned. This PN would be applicable to all the Commissionerates/field formations under the charge of Chief Commissioner, Mumbai Customs Zone-1. This issues with the approval of the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Zone –I.
