The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) has emerged as one of the landmark economic policy reforms in India since its implementation in 2016. By providing a more structured and market-driven mechanism for resolving stressed assets of corporate debtors, the IBC has not only reshaped the overall credit landscape but also playing a pivotal role in improving the ease of doing business.
2. The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) will celebrate its 9th Annual Day on 1st October 2025 at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, Teen Murti Marg, New Delhi, from 04:00 PM onwards.
3. The event will be graced by the esteemed presence of eminent dignitaries. Shri Harsh Malhotra, Hon’ble Minister of State in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs & Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Chief Guest of the occasion will deliver the keynote address. To mark the occasion, the IBBI’s Annual Publication for the year 2025, titled Breaking New Ground: IBC’s Role in Building a Resilient Economy, will be released during the event.
