Circular : Extention of Date for the manual request and payment option for the Pre-Harvest Test (PHT)

CIRCULAR

In partial modification of the circular of even number dated 29th April 2021, the manual request and payment option for the Pre-Harvest Test (PHT) is hereby extended up to 31st May 2021 considering the request placed by RD Kolkata, RD Vijayawada and SRD Bhimavaram in the officer’s review meeting held by Chairman on 29 April 2021.

CIRCULAR

Further to the introduction of online PHT system, manual payment option was also permitted up to 30th April 2021 so as to facilitate smooth transition of the sampling request generation system from the manual mode to online mode. Field offices are reminded that there won’t be any further extension of the manual system beyond 30th April 2021 and hence the sampling requests will be entertained along with payment only through online with effect from 1st May 2021.

All the field offices and NaCSA are requested to pass on this information to the farmers in their respective regions and urge them to update their details on the online system on urgent basis and to apply for PHT certification as and when the harvest approaches in order to ensure and certify the quality of the shrimp they produce.
