अिधसूचना नई िदल्ली, 8 अगस्त, 2017 का.आ. 2537(अ).—केन्ᮤीय सरकार, पयार्वरण (संरक्षण) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 6 और धारा 25 ᳇ारा ᮧदᱫ शिᲦयᲂ का ᮧयोग करते हुए पयार्वरण (संरक्षण) िनयम, 1986 का और संशोधन करने के िलए िन᳜िलिखत िनयम बनाती है, अथार्त्:— 1. (1) इन िनयमᲂ का संिक्ष᳙ नाम पयार्वरण (संरक्षण) संशोधन िनयम, 2017 है।
(2) ये राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकाशन की तारीख को ᮧवृᱫ हᲂगे। 2. पयार्वरण (संरक्षण) िनयम, 1986 के िनयम 5 के उप-िनयम (3) के खंड (घ) मᱶ “पांच सौ पᱹतािलस िदन” शब्दᲂ के स्थान पर “आपवािदक पिरिस्थितयᲂ मᱶ असम, मेघालय, अरुणाचल ᮧदेश, िमजोरम, मिणपुर, नागालᱹड, िᮢपुरा, िसिᲥम और जम्मू- कश्मीर राज्यᲂ के संबंध मᱶ और एक सौ अस्सी िदन की और अविध के भीतर पयार्᳙ कारणᲂ के िलए” अंतःस्थािपत िकया जाएगा।

THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th August, 2017 S.O. 2537(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 25 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2017. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.  In the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, in clause (d) of sub-rule (3) of rule 5, after the words “five 
   

hundred and forty five days”, the words “, and in respect of the States of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim and Jammu and Kashmir in exceptional circumstance and for sufficient reasons within a further period of one hundred and eighty days,” shall be inserted.
