Sub: Constitution of Core Committee for facilitating organisation of the E-8 Country Meet.

Competent Authority in the Government has decided to constitute a Core Committee for facilitating organization of the E-8 Country Meet proposed to be held at New Delhi in April 2011, with the following constitution:

(i) ADGF (Wildlife) Chairman (ii) Shri Vivek Menon, CEO, Wildlife Trust of India Member (iii) Dr. Sandeep Kumar Tiwari, Co-ordinator & Member (iv) Head Wild Land Div, Wildlife Trust ofIndia (v) IGF & Director (Project Elephant (vi) IGF (Wildlife) Member Director (IFD), MoEF (vii) . Member © (viii) Director (GA), MoEF Member Joint Director (Wildlife) Member Convener

The Committee shall have the following Terms of Reference:

• (i) To liaise and coordinate with all the stakeholders. (ii) To consult with E-8 members and stakeholders in the run up to the proposed E-8 Meet and assist in firming up and finalizing the format of the country meet including the topics for discussion in the

• (ili) technical session(s). (iv) To prepare the draft resolution ofthe E-8 meeting. To obtain requisite clearances and prepare drafts of communications

• (v) to be sent to the participants. To finalise and arrange the venue for the meet.

  • (vi) To make all the necessary arrangements for holding the meet including working out the finer details ‘of budget, and other requirements for organising the event.

  • (vii) ‘To undertake all such activities and perform all such tasks, as may be necessary for and incidental to successfully organizing the country meet.
