A meeting to discuss the various issues related to website of Indian Forest Service i.e. https://ifs.nic.in. under the chairmanship.of Sh. A. Raghu Prasad, IGF (IFS) was held on the 21.07.2025 at 3.00 p.m. in his chamber. The following ‘Officers were present in the meeting. , i. The meeting to discuss the various issues related to website of Indian Forest Service i.e. hitps://ifs.nic.in. was held under the chairmanship of IGF (IFS) on - 24.07.2025 at 3.00 p.m. in his chamber. The various issues relating the IFS Website were discussed in detail and the following decisions were taken.

i. The NIC has informed that the website of Indian Forest Service i.e. htips//ifs.nic.in is to be upgraded in order to enable security auditing. Accordingly, NIC will take around 3 months time for the upgradation. 2. During the period of maintenance of the IFS website, a message will made available on the IFS Website stating that the website is under maintenance. Further, a link will be provided in the IFS Website which will redirect to the - temporary webpages created in the Ministry Websitei.e https://moef.gov.in/, so that essential and uninterrupted services will continue, till the IFS Website is back online on fully functional. | ,

In the Ministry Website (https://moef.gov.in/), a dedicated tab (which will be opened upon clicking the IFS Website) with the following details, will be created.

i The NIC-Cell of the Ministry will review the Security of the IFS Website i.e https//fs.nic.in and will provide an estimate for the development and hosting of the IFS Website on a secured and updated platform as per the various norms prescribed by the Government Agencies from time to time. The - required funds for upgrading the website will be proposed to RT Division. IFS - Division will coordinate with the NIC-Cell and RT Division on the matter.
