Subject:- Timelines for recording of PARs for the year 2024-25 under AIS (PAR) Rules- regarding.

The undersigned is directed to refer to the Department of Personnel and Training's (DoPT) Letter No. 3/4/2019-EO (PR) dated 2nd May, 2025 (copy enclosed), whereby, DoPT has communcated the timelines for recording of PARS for the year 2024-25 for All India Service (AIS) Officers.

2. Accoriding all the AIS officers of this Ministry and its Regional. Offices, along with NAEB and CAQM are, therefore, requested to strictly adhere to the timelines mentioned in the aforesaid O.Ms. of DoPT.

Sir/Madam,

It may kindly be recalled that electronic recording of PAR was made mandatory from the year 2014-15 and the provision for same was incorporated in the AIS(PAR) Amendment Rules, 2017. Later vide Notification dated 23.07.2019, the A!S(PAR) Amendment Rules, 2019 were notified which, inter-alia, introduced auto-fonwarding of PARs from one level to next level.

|2.<br>In order to give effect to the time-bound recording of PARs, provision for auto-<br>forwarding ofPARs from one stage to the next stage aftera specified due date has been<br>introduced from the assessment year2019-20 in SPARROW.|

|3.<br>It is reiterated that once the PAR gets closed on the midnight of31% December, it<br>gets auto-forwarded in the online dossieroftheORU and istreated asdeemed disclosure,<br>In cases, where the PAR could not be uploaded on to the system by the midnight of31°<br>December and is physically disclosed, the number of days for having comments of the<br>ORU on the PAR is counted from the date on which the PAR has been physically|
