Ilated: &rd t{ovember, 2O24 ORDER Sub: Terms and Condltons of serrrice of Chairperson and Erpert tlembers of @ntnl Empowered Commitlee (GEC). Wth relerence to Para 6 of the Ministry's Gazette Nolification No. S.O. 3946 (E) dated 5t h September, 4/J, the Terms and Conditions of service of Chairperson and Expert Members of Central Empowered Committee {CEC) shall be as follows:

  1. Regulalion of Remuneration of the Chairperson and Expert Members of the CEC will be determined as per the applicable provisions in the DOE OM No. 3-2V2020-E.lll A dated grhDecember 2020 in the context of retired Government Employees.

  2. A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible, anived at by deducting the basic pension lrom the pay drawn at lhe time of retiremenl. The amount of remuneration so fixed shall remain unchanged tor the term ol the confact. There wilt be no annual incremenVpercentage increase during the conlract period.

  3. An appropriate ard frxed amount as Transport Albwance lor the grrpose ol commuting between the residence and place of work shall be allowed not exceeding the rate applicable at the time of retirement. The amount so fixed shall remain unchanged during the term of appointment. Additionally, the Chairperson and Expert Members shall be entitled to Travel Allowance [IA) and Daily Allowance {DA) on offhial tour in accordance with the rates applicable at the time of their retirement.
