They will be on probation for a period of two years from the date of their regular appointment in the grade. During the period of probation, they may be required to undergo such training and pass such test as the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change may from time to time prescribe. They shall have to pass one of the periodical typewriting test in English or Hindi held by Staff Selection Commission/Department of Official Language at a minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi, unless exempted by the order issued by this Ministry in this regard. JSA who has not passed the typewriting test within the period of probation, his first and subsequent increments shall not be allowed to them until they pass the said test and they shall also be liable to reversion. 3.
