Subject: lmplementation of Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System

(AEBAS) for attendance of employees and observance of punctuality in . thd Ministry- regarding. The undersigned is directed to refer to OM of even No. dated 25.06.2024 read with DoPT's OM No. 11}1311312023-Pers.Policy-A.lll dated 'lSth June 2024, vide which instructions were issued to strictly follow implementation of AEBAS and to monitor the attendance .reports of all the employees after downloading the same from the portal (aftendance.gov. in). 2. As per DoPT's OM Dated 15.06.2024, every Ministry has to ensure that the Bio-matric Machines remain functional at all time. Further, face based authentication application is also to be configured for the employees. Accordingly, lT Division is requested to intimate the actions taken for smooth implementation of AEBAS and a report regarding availability of Biometric Machines may be submitted urgently latest by 01.07.2024 at 04:30 PM so that consolidated report on this subject matter may be submitted to Competent Authority for information and perusal. 3.
