Subject: Compounding of Offences under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 in

accordance with the Drugs and Cosmetics (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 2025 ln terms of Rule 3 of the said Rules, the Government of lndia has appointed Dr. Rajshree, Additional Director General of Health Services (DGHS), Directorate General of Health Services (HQ), New Delhi, vide Office Memorandum No. 211802fl0212018-Admn.l, as the Central Gompounding Authority under the Drugs and Cosmetics (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 2025. Any stakeholder desirous of applying for compounding of offences under the said Rules may submit the application in the prescribed form in physical copy along with advance copy through email at raj[dot]shree64[at]cghs[dot]nic[dot]in, as specified under Rule 4 of the Drugs and Cosmetics (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 2025, lo the Compounding Authority. CDSCO website The Drugs and Cosmetics (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 2025 have been notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of lndia vide Notification No. G.S.R. 259(E) dated 24th April,2025. ln this regard, it is informed that the Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Frequently Asked Questions (FAas) related to the compounding of offences have been uploaded on the CDSCO portal (www.cdsco.qov. in).
