Subject: Transfer of certain functions and delegation of powers to the zonal offices of CDSCO under Rule 22 of the Drugs Rules, 1945 - reg.

Subsequent to the Office Orders dated 13.02.2014, 30.09.2014, and 06.01.2015 on the above-mentioned subject, it is hereby clarified that the following powers, exercised by the undersigned, are delegated to the Zonal Offices as detailed below with the objective to facilitate the ease of doing business;

1. Test License (Form 11) for import of veterinary drugs (other than Biologicals applications) for examination, test or analysis shall be processed and disposed of by the concerned Zonal offices.

2. No objection Certificates (NOCs) permission to obtain Test License in Form-29 to manufacture veterinary drugs (other than Biologicals applications) for examination, test, or analysis under Rule 89 of the Drugs Rules, 1945 shall be processed and disposed of by the concerned Zonal offices.
