As you are aware, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM)’ is an ongoing celebration to commemorate the 75 glorious years of a progressive independent India. This initiative by the Government of India aims to bring focus on our freedom struggle and on the milestones we have achieved as a nation. AKAM is dedicated to the people of India who have been instrumental in development of the country and its evolutionary journey.

ae Under the aegis of AKAM, a campaign ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ has been launched to encourage the citizens to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes. Idea behind the campaign is to instill a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and reminisce the contribution of those who tirelessly worked for nation building. It is envisaged that all citizens will be encouraged to hoist Tiranga in their homes during the period from 13*- 15% August. ke In the above backdrop, I would request your support and leadership in Encouraging all Government officials working in your Ministry/Department to hoist the National Flag in their homes, during the period from 13-15" August, 2022 and making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign a resounding success. foe on
