PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) प्राजधकार से प्रकाजित PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY उपभोक् ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्विजनक जर्तरण मंत्रालय (उपभोक् ता मामले जर्भाग) आदेि नई ददल्ली, 3 मार्व, 2023 का.आ. 1047(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार की, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 15 की उप-धारा (2) और उप-धारा (3) तथा धारा 16 की उप-धारा (1) और उप-धारा (2), धारा 17 तथा धारा 25 की उप- धारा (2) और उप-धारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 14 की उप-धारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो के परामिव से, यह राय है दक लोकजहत में ऐसा करना आर्श्यक या समीर्ीन है, स्ट्र्णव आभूषण और स्ट्र्णव जिल्पकृजत की हॉलमार्ककग आदेि, 2020 में और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती है, अथावत्: - 1. (1) इस आदेि का संजिप्त नाम स्ट्र्णव आभूषण और स्ट्र्णव जिल्पकृजत की हॉलमार्ककग (संिोधन) आदेि, 2023 है। (2) यह रािपत्र में प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रर्ृत्त होगा। 2. स्ट्र्णव आभूषण और स्ट्र्णव जिल्पकृजत की हॉलमार्ककग आदेि, 2020 में, खंड 2 के, उप-खंड (2) के बाद, जनम्नजलजखत उप-खंड अंत: स्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथावत्: - (2क) कोई भी व्यजि 31 मार्व, 2023 के पश्चात् दकसी स्ट्र्णव आभूषण या स्ट्र्णव जिल्पकृजत की जबक्री या प्रदिवन या जबक्री का प्रस्ट्तार् नहीं करेगा, िब तक दक ये र्स्ट्तुएँ भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 3, खंड 4, तारीख 15 िुलाई, 2021 में सं. 1006] नई ददल्ली, सोमर्ार, मार्व 6, 2023/फाल् गुन 15, 1944

MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (Department of Consumer Affairs) ORDER New Delhi, the 3rd March, 2023 S.O. 1047(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (3) of section 14 read with sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 15, sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16, section 17 and sub-section (2) and (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order, further to amend the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020, namely:- 1. (1) This Order may be called the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts (Amendment) Order, 2023. (2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020, in clause 2, after sub-clause (2), the following sub-clause shall be inserted, namely:-
(2A) No person shall, after 31st March, 2023, sell or display or offer to sell any Gold jewellery or Gold Artefacts unless it is hallmarked in accordance with the standards specified in IS 1417:2016 as amended by notification number Ref: HQ-PUB014/1/2020-PUB-BIS (191), dated the 7th July, 2021, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III, Section 4, dated the 15th July, 2021.
