(अ).—कैिशयम काबाइड िनयम, 1987 म संशोधन करने के िलए ाप िनयम पे ोिलयम अिधिनयम, 1934 (1934 का 30) क' धारा 29 क' उप-धारा-2 क' अपेानुसार भारत के राजप/, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (i) म अिधसूचना सं. सा.का.िन. 652 (अ) तारीख 16 जुलाई, 2018 को िजसम ऐसे सभी ;ि<य= से िजनके उससे भािवत होने क' संभावना है आेप या सुझाव मांगने के िलए कािशत क' गई थी, पCतालीस Dदन के पूव अिधसूचना क' ितयां जनता को उपलFध करा दी गई थी;
और उ< अिधसूचना, 16 जुलाई, 2018 को जनता को उपलFध करा दी गई थी;
और उ< ाप िनयम= पर जनता से कोई आ*ेप और सुझाव ाH नहI Jए थे; अतः अब, केKLीय सरकार पे ोिलयम अिधिनयम 1934 क' धारा 4 और धारा 29 क' उप-धारा 2 और उपधारा 3 के साथ पMठत Oवलनशील पदाथ अिधिनयम 1952 (1952 का 20) क' धारा 4 Pारा दQ शि<य= का योग करते Jए कैिशयम काबाइड िनयम, 1987 का और संशोधन करने के िलए िनRिलिखत िनयम बनाती है, अथातः -

1. (1) इन िनयम= का संि*H नाम कैिशयम काबाइड (संशोधन) िनयम, 2018 है। (2) ये राजप/ म काशन क' तारीख को वृQ ह=गे।

(2) सा.का.िन. 647 (अ) तारीख 20 अगXत 2015

G.S.R. 1094(E).—Whereas, the draft rules to amend the Calcium Carbide Rules, 1987, were published as required by sub-section 2 of section 29 of the Petroleum Act, 1934 (30 of 1934) vide notification number G.S.R 652(E) dated the 16th July, 2018 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) inviting objections or suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of forty-five days from the date on which the notification was made available to the public;

And Whereas, the said notification was made available to the public on the 16th July, 2018;

And Whereas, no objections and suggestions were received from the public on the said draft rules;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Inflammable Substances Act, 1952 (20 of 1952) read with section 4 and sub-sections 2 and 3 of section 29 of the Petroleum Act 1934, the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Calcium Carbide Rules, 1987, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Calcium Carbide (Amendment) Rules, 2018. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Calcium Carbide Rules, 1987, in rule 10, after the entry “Visakhapatnam”, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:-

“Jawaharlal Nehru Port”. [F. No. 17(35)/2014-Expl] SHAILENDRA SINGH, Addl. Secy.

Note: The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, vide notification number G.S.R 105(E) dated the
18th February, 1987 and subsequently amended as follows:- (1) G.S.R 109(E) dated the 28th February, 1990; and
(2) G.S.R 647(E) dated the 20th August, 2015.
