MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th December, 2013 G.S.R. 772(E).—Whereas the draft of the Explosives (Amendments) Rules, 2013 was published, as required by sub-section (1) of Section 18 of Explosive Act, 1884 (4 of 1884) vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) number G.S.R.405(E), dated the 25th day of June, 2013 in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby, before the expiry of a period of forty five days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public;
2. And, whereas, copies of the said Gazette were made available to the public on 25th June, 2013; 3. And, whereas, objections and suggestions were received from the public on the said draft rules, have been duly considered by the Central Government; 4. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Explosives Act, 1884 (4 of 1884) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:- (1) These rules may be called the Explosives (Amendments) Rules, 2013. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Gazette of India. 5. In the Explosives Rules, 2008 in Schedule IV, in part 2, for words beginning with “A.
