MINUTES OF THE PTFC MEETING ON 17.04.2026

A Meeting of the Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee (PTFC) of the Ahmedabad Customs Commissionerate for the First fortnight of April-2026, was held on 17.04.2026 at 05:00 PM in virtual mode. The meeting was chaired by Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma, Chief Commissioner (in-situ), Customs Ahmedabad Commissionerate. The following stakeholders and trade partners attended the meeting:

3.   At the outset, the Chairman warmly welcomed all the participants, including
   

representatives from the Customs Brokers Association, Custodians, Logistics Service Providers, and other esteemed stakeholders.

4.   The Chair informed the participants that no written agenda points had been received from
   

the stakeholders. The Chair invited the members to propose any new agenda items for discussion. 05.1. During the course of the meeting, Shri Sandeep Chudasma, Branch Manager, DBC Sons Gujarat Pvt. Ltd. (Star, Cosco, Ocean, Hapag Lloyd and Maersk shipping line) informed the Chair that Online Port clearances for vessels are being given by Mundra Port & Kandla Port and further requested for the same practice for Port Clearance at Hazira Port. 05.2.

The Chair informed that this issue has been encountered for the first time at the Customs Ahmedabad Commissionerate and assured that the matter will be examined, and necessary steps will be taken to facilitate online port clearance for vessels. 06. As no further points were raised, the meeting concluded with a formal vote of thanks to the Chair.
