CBIC, New Delhi vide their letter File No 456/14/2019-CUS.V dated 11.12.2020 has informed that Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Korea Customs Service (KCS) have notified changes in the forms of C/O issued by authorities (KCS and KCCI), as follows: (a)
Addition of QR Code: Connecting sites to help check C/O authenticity,
http://cert.korcham.net/search/index/htm (KCCI); http://www.customs.go.kr/kcshome/co/CertificateOfOriginView.do (KCS); (b) Addition of 2D Barcode: preventing duplication and counterfeit; (c) Implementation date: April 18, 2016. 2. Accordingly, all the concerned officers and staff of JNCH are advised that authentication and genuineness of Certificate of Origin issued by Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korea Customs Service may be verified by referring above mentioned links.
