Subject: Review of transfer/ rotation policy for Inspectors (Examiners) - Reg

Attention of all officers and concerned staff is invited to the Standing Order No. 15/2019 dated 03.07.2019 on the above subject.

2. The following sub-para is herewith inserted in the SO 15/2019 dated 03.07.2019 as 5.2.1:

“In case of Inspectors (Examiners) posted to Cluster ‘C2’, there would be rotation in every two months. The rotation would be done within the three Sub-Clusters of ‘C2’, namely ‘C2/A’, ‘C2/B’ and °C2/C’. The details of CFSs consisting of these sub clusters are mentioned in Annexure‘A’. The ASO Section, JNCH would preparea list of eligible Inspectors (Examiners) along with their history of postings and other relevant data and place them before the placement committee. The placement committee will comprise JC/ADC (Vigilance) and one JC/ADC nominated by the Commissioner of Customs (NS-II). Minutes of the deliberations of the placement committee shall be prepared by ASO Section and shall subsequently be put up to the Commissioner (General) for approval or otherwise. After necessary approval, the orders shall be issued by ASO section.” 3. All other procedures & jurisdictions as mentioned in Standing Order No. 15/2019 dated 03.07.2019 will remain the same.
