Subject:- Expediting Assessment Process in terms of CBIC Circular No. 14/2021-Customs dated 07.07.2021.
Para 3.2 (ii) of above cited CBIC Circular provides- “.........jurisdictional Pr. Commissioners/ Commissioners of Customs shall administratively monitor that FAGs communicate the ‘first decision’ on the Bill of Entry within 3 Working hours after its allocation. The first decision could be acceptance of the self-assessment , query to the importer or a First Check, as may be warranted.”
- Please ensure this along with that there is no pendency of bills of entry with VAO/VDC at the end of day.
