STANDING ORDER NO.22/2019 Dated 22.11.2019

Public Notice No.81/2019 Dated 17.09.2019 regarding Discharge and Back to Town of export containers shipped to Pakistan from Nhava Sheva, it has been observed that there are issues arising in Amendment to the EGM. 2. The following procedure may be followed in respect of Para 2(B) Where Vessel has not crossed Indian Customs Waters and EGM has been filed :

(a) Where EGM amendment is not possible in System : (i) If IGST Refund/Drawback incentive has not been disbursed, alert may be inserted in the System by respective Sections or the said export incentives has to be put on hold. (ii) If IGST Refund/Drawback incentive has been granted, the said amount alongwith interest has to be recovered by the respective Sections and the details of such Shipping Bills/Container numbers has to be forwarded to the EGM Co-ordination Unit, JNCH and Export Section, JNCH to initiate Back to Town procedure by the concerned DC/CFSs (JNCH).

(iii) After completion of the Back to Town procedure, it shall be the responsibility of the respective DC/CFSs (JNCH) to forward all such details to EGM Co-ordination Unit, DEEC Monitoring Cell (Advance Licence), IGST Refund Section, Drawback Section and to the Office of the Addl. DGFT, Mumbai.

The other procedures prescribed in Public Notice No.81/2019 dated 17.09.2019 shall remain unchanged.
