IV 30 .07.2019 Standing Order No. 16/2019 Sub: Sanction Strength and allocating Working Strength post restructuring and re- organisation of field formations under CBIC – regarding. Pursuant to Cadre restructuring and re-organisation of field formations under CBIC and Public Notice No. 91/2018 dated 30.05.2018 regarding Jurisdiction of Commissionerates (Nhava Sheva-1, II, III, IV, V, General) under Mumbai Customs Zone-II and other Public Notices/Standing Orders issued from time to time, it has been decided to fix Sanctioned strength and allocate working strength among various sections of JNCH. This would reduce adhocism in allocation of manpower to different sections and would also result in optimum utilization of working strength of officers posted in Mumbai Customs Zone-II. 2. The Sanctioned Strength and allocated working Strength in each of the Departments/Sections of JNCH will be as per Annexure –‘A’ (for Appraising Cadre) & Annexure – ‘B’ (for Preventive Cadre) to this Standing Order. 3. Further for optimum use of available human resources, it has been decided that: i.) The work handled by Taxpayer Service Center shall be looked after by Chief Commissioner’s Office. ii.) The work handled by CHA Management Cell shall be looked after by CIU. iii.) The work handled by RTI (I) Cell and RTI (X) shall be looked after by Appraising Mains (I) & Appraising Mains (X) respectively. iv.) The work related to RTI (General and Service/Establishment matters) shall be looked after by P&E Section. v.) The work handled by Reception PRO shall be looked after by the Control Room. vi.) The work handled by Sevottam section shall be looked after by AM(I). This issues with the approval of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai Customs Zone-II, JNCH.
