Sub: Removal of roles in ICES on transfer/posting – reg.

It has come to notice that after transfer/posting, officers do not approach the EDI Section for removal of the roles attached with their SSOID which are of no utility for their current assignment.

Non-removal of roles, which are no longer of use to the officers, increases the probability of misuse of the same by unscrupulous elements. 3.

In view of the above, it has been decided that henceforth all the officers, on their transfer/posting, should approach the EDI Section for removal of the roles attached with their SSOID which are of no utility for their current assignment. After removal of such roles, the Alternate System Manager shall issue a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (proforma enclosed) to the officer who will attach the same with their joining report at their new place of posting. The controlling officer shall ensure that the NOC from the Alternate System Manager is produced before allowing an officer to join the new assignment under his/her charge.
