Subject: To ensure that sesame seed exports to European Union is not

permitted unless accompanied by desired “Certificate of Export”- Reg.

Attention of all the officers in the jurisdiction of the Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH) is invited to DGFT Notification No. 37 /2015-20 dated 03.02.2016, wherein conditions for export of sesame seeds to European Countries were notified and it was provided that export of sesame seed consignment is permitted subject to procurement of “Certificate of Export” from Indian Oilseeds and Produce Export Promotion Council (IOPEPC).

In view of above, all the officers in the jurisdiction of Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House (JNCH) shall make sure that sesame seed exports to European Union is not permitted unless accompanied by desired “Certificate of Export” issued by Indian Oilseeds and Produce Export Promotion Council (IOPEPC).

All the Officers are hereby directed to follow the above mentioned instructions scrupulously. Difficulties, if any, in this regard may be brought to the notice of the Additional Commissioner, AM(X) through email/phones (email address: apmainexp@jawaharcustoms.gov.in, Phone No.022-27244959).
