Subject: Policy for Transfer/Rotation in the grade of Superintendents of Customs (Preventive) and Inspectors (Preventive Officers) at Mumbai Customs Zone Il, Nhava Sheva-reg,
Attention is invited to the Standing Order NO. 13/2019 dated 02.07.2019 issued vide F. NO. $/43Gen-102/2018-19/PSO/JNCH on the above subject as modified vide Standing Order No. 08/2022 dated 12.07.2022 & Standing Order No. 27 of 2023 dated 22.11.2023 and Standing Order No, 02/2024 dated 29.01.2024
Z. In partial modification to the above Standing Order in respect of the transfers/postings of inspector (Preventive Officer) (Group B Non-Gazetted), the following guidelines are modified as below: The Para 5.3 of SO 13/2019 states that :
“In case of POs posted to cluster B which are Gate Postings, there would be rotation every Four Months in the manner as decided by Commissioner(G). It is, however, clarified that this rotation would be within the sare Cluster B.”
The above stated para 5.3 of SO 13/2019 stands modified as below:
“In case of POs posted to Cluster B which are Gate Pastings, there would be monthly rotation in manner as decided by Commissioner (G). It is, however, clarified that this rotation would be within the same Cluster B.”
