Subject: Policy for Transfer/Rotation in the grade of Superintendents of Customs (Preventive) and Inspectors (Preventive Officers) at Mumbai Customs Zone ll, Nhava Sheva-reg. Attention is invited to the Standing Order NO. 13/2019 dated 02.07.2019 issued vide F. NO. S/43Gen-102/2018-19/PSO/JNCH on the above subject as modified vide Standing Order No. 08/2022 dated 12.07.2022 & S.O. 27 of 2023 dated 22.11.2023.

2. In partial modification to the above Standing Order in respect of the transfers/postings of Superintendents of Customs(P) (Group B Executive Gazetted) and Inspector (Preventive Officer) (Group B Non-Gazetted), the following guidelines are incorporated as below:

(a). The Placement Committee shall ensure that officers who have completed their tenure in following sections are transferred to other sections: -

(i). Export Examination Docks (ii). Export Stuffing Docks (iii). Import Examination Docks (iv). Centralised Parking Plaza (v). Sample Cell (vi). Turant Seva Kendra (TSK) (vii). RMS-FC (viii). Centralised Valuation Cell (CVC) (ix). Karanja Port

(b). The Placement Committee shall ensure that minimum One Third officers of Working Strength are retained in the following Sections to ensure continuity:-

(i). Audit (ii). CSD (iii). SIIB(I) (iv). SIIB(X) (v). CIU (vi). CCSP CELL (vii). Centralised Refund Cell (viii). |GST-REFUND (ix). Drawback & DBK Recovery (x). EPSMMC (xi). Vigilance section (xii). SEZ Arshiya/JNPT (xiii). UB Centre (xiv). Import Bond (xv). CHS (xvi). EDI (xvii). P&E (xviii). Disposal.
