Sub: Policy for Transfer/Rotation in the grade of Appraisers and Inspectors (Examiners) at Nhava Sheva Customs, Zone-Il-reg.

Attention is invited to the Standing Order No. 15/2019 dated 03.07.2019 issued vide F. No. S/5-Gen-58/2018-19/P&E/JNCH as modified vide Standing Order No. 29/2021 dated 22.12.2021 & Standing Order No. 07/2022 dated 12.07.2022 and SO No. 28 of 2023 dated 22.11.2023.

2. In partial modification to the above Standing Order in respect of Transfer/Postings of Examiners (Group-B Executive, Non-Gazetted) and Appraisers (Group-B Executive, Gazetted) the following guidelines are incorporated as below:-

a. The Placement Committee shall ensure that officers who have completed their tenure in following sections are transferred to other sections:-

i. Docks Examination (Import), iv. Turant Seva Kendra (TSK), ii. Docks Examination(Export), V. RMS-FC, iii. Centralised Parking Plaza (CPP) vi. CENTRAL VALUATION CELL(CVC),

ed to other sections:-

i. Docks Examination (Import), iv. Turant Seva Kendra (TSK), ii. Docks Examination(Export), V. RMS-FC, iii. Centralised Parking Plaza (CPP) vi. CENTRAL VALUATION CELL(CVC),

b. The Placement Committee shall ensure that minimum One Third officers of Working Strength are retained in the following sections to ensure continuity:-

i. Audit, ix. DBK, ii. CSD, Xx. EPSMMC, iii. SIIB (1), xi. VIGILANCE CELL, iv. SIIB(X), xii. SEZ Arshiya/JNPT, v. CIU, xiii, EDI, vi. Appraising Groups, xiv. P&E, vii. CCSP CELL, XV. Disposal viii. Central REFUND CELL,

c. Inthe remaining sections, as far as possible, one third officers of Working Strength shall be retained by the Placement Committee while adhering to point 2(a) and 2(b).
