Subject: PN 53/2020 dated 13/04/2020 – Manner of submission

of documents for cancellation of Bond/BG

Attention of all the concerned EPCG Licence holders is invited to Public Notice No. 53/2020 dated 13.04.2020 regarding Cancellation of EPCG Bond/BG.

  1. Considering the present situation due to COVID, the said PN is being amended as follows:
    Para 3 of Public Notice No. 53/2020 dated 13.04.2020 is amended to read as,

“3. The above mentioned licence holders, as detailed in Table in Para 1 are requested to submit the following documents by e mail to jnch-epcg@gov.in through their entity based e mail id so that verification can be completed while exporters may submit the original documents within 30 days of end of lockdown.

List of documents for detailed verification:

  1. EODC/Redemption Letter
  2. ANF 5B duly certified by Chartered Accountant
  3. Copy of Installation Certificate issued by Chartered Engineer/Central Excise/GST authorities
  4. EPCG Licence
  5. Copy of S/Bs (ARE-1 in case deemed exports)
  6. Bank Realization Certificate
  7. In case third party export (documents as per FTP 2015-20)
  8. Other relevant documents submitted to DGFT.

3A. The licence holders, as detailed in Table in Para 2 are requested to submit within 30 days of end of lockdown, the following documents

  1. Original EPCG licence
  2. EODC issued by DGFT
  3. Installation Certificate.

The Bond and Bank Guarantee will be released after the submission of original documents, as detailed above.”
