Jawaharlal Nehru Port Container Terminals, Nhava Sheva located at Parking Area No. 3, Village Nhava Sheva, of M/s. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust admeasuring 403000 SQM, was declared as Customs Area for loading of export goods under Section S(a) of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification No. 11/2017 dated 1.9.2017. Further, all the work pertaining to the three Parking Plazas viz. JNPCT, NSICT/NSIGT and GTI had been shifted to Centralized Parking Plaza (CPP) from 26.10.2020 to provide a single point Documentation Processing Area for export of all Direct Port Entry Self Sealed containers as per Public Notice No. 138/2020 dated 23.10.2020. M/s. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust has been the custodian of the said Centralised Parking Plaza. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the "Handllng of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009". I, Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Mumbai Zone I1, Nhava Sheva, hereby approve M/s. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, as "Customs Cargo Service Provider" for examination of Factory Stuffed Export Containers for area of 19603.25 Sq.

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, approved as "Customs Cargo Service Provider" for the said Examination area Inside the Centralized Parking Plaza, shall abide by all the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 and the rules of the "Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations, 2009", other regulations, notifications, orders issued there . under. The duration of the appointment of M/s. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, as "Custodian" and as "Customs Cargo Service Provider" shall remain for five (05) years from the date of issue of this Public Notice. 2. This area is being notified as Examination Area for all types of cargo except Hazardous Cargo. 3.
