Raigad, Maharashtra- 400707 was declared as Customs Area under section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification No. 02/1998 dated 01.12. 1998 and M/s Gateway Distripark Limited was appointed as "Custodian" of the Container Freight Station, under section 45 of the Customs Act, 1962 as amended from time to time and vide latest Public Notice No. 86/2020 dated 23.07.2020 for five (5) years from 15.03.2020 5. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 45(1) and 141 (2) of the Customs Act, 1962, 1, Istikhar Baig, Commissionerof Customs, General, Mumbai Zone- I1, Nhava Sheva hereby appoint M/s Gateway Distriparks Limitedto be the 'Custodian' of the Imported goods received at the Container Freight Station of M/s Gateway Distriparks Limited until these are cleared for home consumption or are warehoused or are transhipped in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VIll of the Customs Act, 1962 for the entire Customs Area of 1,39,359.00 SQM. Similarly, M/s Gateway Distriparks Limited will also be the Custodian' of the Export cargo brought into said Container Freight Station for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru Port. 6.

for a period of Ten (10) year from 15.03.2020_provided the validity of the AEO-LO status of the CFS extended. If the validity of AEO status granted to the CFS is withdrawn prior to the 26.04.2023 or is not extended beyond 26.04.2023 the validity shall be valid for a period of five (051year from 15.03.2020 instead of ten (10) year. (ii) The waiver from execution of Bank Guarantee has been given in terms of regulation 5(3) of HCCAR, 2009 as the CFS has been accredited with AEO- LO status with validity till 26.04.2023. If the validity of AEO status granted to the CFS is withdrawn prior to the 26.04.2023 or is not extended beyond 26.04.2023, the CFS shall execute bank guarantee for the amount, as determined, w.e.f. date of expiry of validity of AEO status. iv) The Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH shall have the Right to review the approval as 'Customs Cargo Services Provider' before the completion of ten year for failure to comply with any of the Regulations of the "Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 or as per the directions of the Government of India.
