Importers/Exporters, Custom Brokers, Trade and other stakeholders are informed that Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCl) and Korea Customs Service (KCS) have notified changes in the forms of C/O isued by authorities (KCS and KCCI), as follows: (a)
Addition of QR Code: Connecting sites to help check C/O authenticity, http://cert.korcham.net/search/index/htm (KCCI); http://www.customs.go.kr/kcshome/co/CertificateOfOriginView.do (KCS); (b) Addition of 2D Barcode: preventing duplication and counterfeit;
(c) Implementation date: April 18, 2016. 2. In this regard, it is advised that authentication and genuineness of Certificate of Origin issued by Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Korea Customs Service may be verified by referring above mentioned links.
