Whereas the area admeasuring 56,631 SQM of Container Freight Station located at Village-Ashte, Taluka-Panvel, Distt. Raigad, Maharashtra of M/s Ashte Logistics Pvt. Ltd. was notified as the ‘Customs Area’ under the provisions of the section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 vide Notification No. 13/2017 dated 08.11.2017. Now, an additional area of (5615+3288+911+1619+405)=11838 SQM located adjacent to the above CFS has been acquired and developed on the land parcels mentioned in the schedule below for their Container Freight Station.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 8(a) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs, General, Mumbai Zone- II, Nhava Sheva hereby notify the additional land as mentioned in the schedule below of M/s Ashte Logistics Pvt. Ltd. as a place for unloading of imported goods and for loading of export goods subject to the strict observance of the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 and other instructions issued in this behalf by the Government of India or Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House, from time to time.

Further under section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Istikhar Baig, Commissioner of Customs, General, Mumbai Zone- II, Nhava Sheva hereby specify the limits of the Customs Area added to the Container Freight Station as the area of land parcels within the Survey Numbers of the land as mention in Schedule below. Thus the total area of the CFS becomes 68,469 SQM.
