PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 124/2020

M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd. located at Plot No. 69/91, Village Palaspe, Bombay Goa Road, Panvel, Distt. Raigad, Maharashtra having admeasuring area 15.237 acres was declared as a Customs notified area vide Notification No. 17/2006 dated 19.05.2006, 14/2010 dated 21.04.2010 and 05/2018 dated 18.04.2018. The appointment of M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd. as ‘Custodian’ and ‘Customs Cargo Services Provider’ has been renewed vide last Notification No. 05/2015 dated 24.02.2015& 08/2018 dated 18.05.2018 for duration of 5 years from 12.01.2015. 2. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 45(1) and 141 (2) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH, hereby renew the appointment of M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd.as ‘Custodian’ of the imported goods received at the Container Freight Station M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd.until these are cleared for home consumption or are warehoused or are transshipped in accordance with the provision of Chapter VIII of the Customs Act, 1962. Similarly, M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd.will also be the ‘Custodian’ of the Export Cargo brought into said Container Freight Station, for examination and stuffing till their exportation through Jawaharlal Nehru Port. 3. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the ‘Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations 2009’, I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs (General), JNCH, hereby renew the approval of M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd.as the ‘Customs Cargo Services Provider’ for the CFS M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd. subject to following conditions:

(i) The Custodian M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd.approved as ‘Customs Cargo Services Provider’ for the said CFS shall abide by all the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, the rules of the ‘Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009’, and other regulations, notifications, orders issued there under.
(ii) The duration of appointment of M/s. JWC Logistics Park Pvt. Ltd and as ‘Customs Cargo Services Provider’ is valid for five (5) years w.e.f. 12.01.2020 subject to review under the 1st proviso to sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 10 of HCCAR, 2009, if required.
