Sub : COVID-19 facilitation measure- Approval of additional place under Section 8 (a) of Customs Act,1962 for unloading/loading of import and export goods.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 8(a) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, Sanjay Mahendru, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava-Sheva, hereby approve place as per DRG No IS/JNPT-PARKING PLAZA/201507001 admeasuring 43.27 hectares of Integrated Centralized Parking Zone of
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Terminal Limited located at Post Sheva, Taluka Uran, District Raigad, Maharashtra- 400707, as place for unloading/loading of imported goods.
2. This notification is subject to strict observation of the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962,rules/regulations issued there under and other instructions issued in this behalf by the Government of India or Commissioner of Customs (NS- General), Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House, from time to time.
3. All the operations in the above approved place shall be carried out under administrative control and supervision of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Administration Building, Sheva, Navi Mumbai- 400707.
