The undersigned is directed to say that the Committee of this Department, which has been constituted to consider the compassionate appointment applications for recommending candidates to fill up vacant posts of MTS in DPIIT under compassionate quota, in its meeting on 21.07.2023 (minutes of the meeting attached), has allotted marks to each of the applicants on the basis of information furnished by the applicants, the service records of the deceased government servant, and the criteria of DPIIT (uploaded at https://dpiit.gov.in/publications/recruitment-rules), for considering compassionate appointment applications (marksheet as Annexure-B enclosed). On the basis of marks obtained by the applicants, the Committee has recommended following 5 applicants for appointment to 5 vacant posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in DPIIT against compassionate quota, in the following order:- i) Smt. The meeting of the Committee was held on 21 st July, 2023 under the Chairmanship of Shri Narender Kumar, Director, DPIIT in his Chamber to consider the compassionate appointment applications, for recommending candidates to fill up 5 vacant posts of MTS in DPIIT under compassionate quota, which was attended by both the members of the Committee. 3. The Committee was provided with a copy of relevant documents viz 100 point- scale/marking system of DPIIT, Assets and Liabilities details (in original) in respect of 47 applicants received for compassionate appointment, Master Circular on Compassionate appointment issued by Do PT vide their O.M. dated 02.08.2022, the details of the service records of the deceased government employees as Annexure- A. 4. The Committee held detailed analysis of the documents for consideration for appointment to the post of MTS on compassionate grounds in DPIIT.
