वाजणज् य रर उ्योगग ंं्ालय (उ्योगग संवधधन रर आंतररक व् यापार जवभाग) आदेि नई ददल् ली, 7 िून, 2021 का.आ. 2166(अ).—भारतीय ंानक ब् यूरयोग अजधजनयं, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 25 की उप-धारा (3) के साथ परित धारा 16 की उप-धाराओं (1) रर (2), धारा 17 द्वारा प्रदत् त िजतियय का प्रययोगग करते ुए, रर ददनांक 4 ददसंबर, 2019 के भारत के रािप्, असाधारण, भाग-II, खंड-3, उप-खण् ड (ii) ंें प्रकाजित का.आ. सं 4353(अ) के द्वारा प्लग एंड सॉकेट-ऑउटलेट्स रर अल्टरनेटटंग करंट डायरेक्ट कनेक्टेड स्ट्टेरटक जप्रपेंेंट ंीटर फॉर ऐजक्टव एनिी
(गुणवत् ता जनयं्ण) आदेि, 2019 के अजधक्रंण ंें, जसवाय उन बात के ियोग ऐसे अजधक्रंण से पूवध की गई या करने का लयोगप दकया गया है, केंद्र सरकार का भारतीय ंानक ब् यूरयोग के साथ परांिध करने के बाद यह ं त है दक यह िनजहत ंें आवश् यक अथवा जहतकर है, अत: एतद्द्वारा जनम् नजलजखत आदेि करती है, नांत: -

1. संजिप् त िी्धक रर प्रारंभ - (1) इस आदेि कयोग प्लग एंड सॉकेट-ऑउटलेट्स रर अल्टरनेटटंग करंट डायरेक्ट कनेक्टेड स्ट्टेरटक जप्रपेंेंट ंीटर फॉर ऐजक्टव एनिी (गुणवत् ता जनयं्ण) आदेि, 2021 कहा िाएगा। (2) इस आदेि ंें अन्यथा दकए गए प्रावधान कयोग सुरजित रखते ुए, यह आदेि िासकीय रािप् ंें प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रभावी हयोगगा।

THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] 2. अनुप्रययोगग – 01 िून, 2022 से, यह आदेि नीचे दी गई ताजलका के कॉलं (2) ंें जवजनर्दधष् ट वस्ट् तुओं या सांान पर लागू हयोगगा, लेदकन इसंें से कुछ भी जनयाधत की िाने वाली वस्ट् तुओं या सांान पर लागू नहह हयोगगा। 3. ंानक जचह्न का अजनवायध प्रययोगग- उतिय ताजलका के कॉलं (2) ंें जवजनर्दधष् ट वस्ट् तुएं या सांान उक् त ताजलका के कॉलं (3) ंें उजल्लजखत तद्नुरूपी भारतीय ंानक के अनुरूप ह गे तथा उनंें भारतीय ंानक ब् यूरयोग (अनुपालन ंूल् यांकन) जवजनयं, 2018 की अनुसूची-II की स्ट् कीं-I के अनुसार भारतीय ंानक ब् यूरयोग के लाइसेंस के तहत ंानक जचह्न लगा हयोगगा।

(क्लास-1 रर 2) – जविे्ताएं नयोगट – इस ताजलका के प्रययोगिन के जलए, उनके संबंध ंें िारी संियोगधन सजहत भारतीय ंानक के नवीनतं संस्ट् करण, िैसा दक भारतीय ंानक ब् यूरयोग द्वारा संय-संय पर अजधसूजचत दकए गए हैं, उतिय ब्यूरयोग द्वारा अजधसूजचत दकए िाने की तारीख से लागू ह गे।

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade) ORDER New Delhi, the 7th June, 2021 S.O. 2166(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16, section 17 read with sub-section (3) section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016) and in supersession of the Plugs and Socket-Outlets and Alternating Current Direct Connected Static Prepayment Meters for Active Energy (Quality Control) Order, 2019, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 4353(E), dated 4th December, 2019, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following Order, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement. – (1) This Order may be called the Plugs and Socket-Outlets and Alternating Current Direct Connected Static Prepayment Meters for Active Energy (Quality Control) Order, 2021. (2) Save as otherwise provided in this order, it shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

3 2. Application.- With effect from the 1st June,2022, this order shall apply to goods or articles specified in column (2) of the Table below, but nothing herein shall apply to said goods or articles meant for export.
3. Compulsory use of Standard Mark.- Goods or articles specified in column (2) of the said Table shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard mentioned in column (3) thereof and shall bear the Standard Mark under a license from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulation, 2018.
4. Certification and enforcement authority. – In respect of the goods or articles specified in the column (2) of the said Table, the Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and enforcing authority.
