OFFICE OF DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE Udyog Bhawan New Delhi -110011 SCOMET Minutes Inter-Ministerial Working Group (IMWG) in DGFT Minutes of IMWG Meeting No. 02/2020-21 on dual use SCOMET items [Special Chemicals, Organisms, Materials, Equipment and Technologies] held on 20.05.2020 at Udyog Bhavan New Delhi. 7 Meeting No. 02 (2020-21) of Inter-Ministerial Working Group (IMWG) was held under the Chairmanship of Shri Vijay Kumar, Addl. DGFT on 20.05.2020 at 03.00 PM in Room No. 04, H-Wing, Udyog Bhavan, and New Delhi to consider the applications for export of dual use ‘SCOMET’ items 2: Altogether 139 applications (including 98 deferred cases and 02 previously rejected cases) (39 new applications) were considered by the IMWG, out of which total 34 cases were ‘Approved’ (including 21 post-facto approvals), 02 cases were ‘ ejected’ on technical grounds, 05 cases ‘Dropped’ (either on the request of the firm or due to wrong classification) and remaining 98 cases ‘Deferred’ due to want of comments/NOC from concerned IMWG member agencies or in await of information/clarification from the applicant firms After deliberations, the decisions of the IMWG are indicated in the tabulated statement given below: Fe Firm’s name and File No. DGFT HQ file no.
