Case No. 3 : *The case was discussed in detail by IMWG during meeting and it was decided that in

view of the clarification from the firm that product is specifically designed for military use and it has no other application , will fall under category 6. The firm will require to file fresh application with DDP as per their SOP.

Case No.24 : **DDP/MOD vide their O.M. dated 9" August 2017 has informed that the SCOMET

item proposed to be exported is also covered in Category 6A0101 of the munitions list, apart from Category S5D001(a) —other aircraft specially designed or modified for military use. Both the categories, 6A010 and 5D001 cover aircraft and components, specially designed for military use. IMWG decided to transfer the case to DDP for examination by them. The firm will require to file fresh application with DDP as per their SOP.

Case No.27 : ***27 DDP/MOD vide their O.M. dated

10" August 2017 has informed that the SCOMET item proposed to be exported is a part of air borne radar system and will be used for manufacture of Air Defence System and is covered in Category 6A011 (c) of the munitions list. IMWG decided to transfer the case to DDP for examination by them. The firm will require to file fresh application with DDP as per their SOP. Note 2: (i) Cases which are shown as deferred imply want of comments/NOC from the concerned Technical Agencies or requirement of additional information/clarification from the firm. (ii) Authorization letter from DGFT (Hqrs.) to the concerned Regional Authority of DGFT on those cases which are shown as approved subject to NOC from Technical Agency(ies) will be issued only after receipt of NOC in writing from the respective agency/ies. (iii) Henceforth, SCOMET permissions for approved cases from DGFT(Hars.) will be issued on electronically generated system only and sent to Regional Authority (RA), DGFT concerned with a copy to the applicant. An SMS/E-mail alert along with reference number of concerned RA for approved cases will be generated and sent to the applicant in this regard. (iv) RA can see the Digitally singed Authorisation / Approval letter on clicking the ‘ View attachment’ option after logging into online SCOMET at URL http://dgft.gov.in/ecomra/ and locate file by searching file (Example 21089 and press find button) and issue export authorization /license accordingly within three working days without waiting any further communication from the applicant / DGFT(Hars).
