The Committee noted that the following items are available under TRQ under the Indo- Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement (ISLFTA) mentioned in Annexure | to Appendix 2A of FTP, 2015-2020 read with Public Notiece No. 62 dated 25.2.2016. i Pepper: 2500 MT ily Vanaspati, Bakery Shortening and Margarine: 2,50,000 MT ili. Applications received for import of Dessicated Coconut 12 Ss Considering that there are 84 applicants and the total quantity of Pepper applied for is 13,460 MT, the Committee decided to divide the available quantity (2,500 MT) among the applicants equally. Consequently, each applicant is eligible for 29.76 MT of Pepper. 6.

M/s Supernovz Traders and M/s Vijay Solvex Ltd. have applied for 5000 MT and 14000 MT respectively i.c., less than 17,857.14 MI, the Committee decided to grant them the requested quota. The remaining quantity (231000 MT) was distributed equally among the remaining 12 applicants 1.0.19,250 MT each. is As regards Desiccated Coconut, the available quantity is 500 MT, the Committee decided to divide the available quantity among the applicants equally. Consequently, each applicant was cligible for 41.66 MT of Desiccated Coconut. However, one of the applicants viz.M/s Ananya

The remaining quantity (475 MT) was distributed equally among the remaining 11 applicants 1.० 43.18 MT each. 8. The Committee was informed that vide notification no. 53/2015-2020 dated 21.3.2018, import of Black Pepper below CIF value of Rs. 500/- per kg is prohibited. Accordingly, the Committee noted that there will be no relaxation on the MIP condition for import of Black Pepper under ISLFTA. The Committee also noted that these imports will be subject to submission of COO fulfilling the Rules of Origin criteria and such other requirements as stipulated under ISLE TA. 9: The Committee also noted that some of the applicants have not submitted application fee proportionate to the quantity applied. The Committee accordingly decided that concerned RA would ensure before issuing the authorization that full application/ processing fee, proportionate to the quantity applied for or the maximum amount whichever is applicable is deposited by the applicant. RA must also ensure that all necessary documents are received by them before issuing the authorization. 10. The Committee further decided that the above allocation is provisional. If there is any grievance on the allocation made by the Committee, the applicants may represent by 24.5.2019.
