The Committee also decided to seek comments of DIPP on the export policy of Waste paper before considering any change in the policy and moving the item from ‘ Restricted’ to ‘ Free’ in terms of — Part D of Schedule Ill of Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules 2016, which provides that permission from the MOEF&CC for export of waste paper is not required.
