In order to facilitate export, Para 2.51 gives power to Chairman, EFC to issue authorization in those cases, which have been discussed by EFC at least once in previous meeting and got deferred, and where NOCs / recommendations have been received subsequently from the concerned agency(ies) with no divergence in views. However, such cases, shall be brought before EFC in its subsequent meeting for approval on ex- post facto basis. (iv) Dropped. Cases shown as Dropped implies that the firm is not responsive to the queries of DGFT or to the concerned Administrative Ministry / Deptt. and has not furnished documents/information/ clarification as called for despite reminders.
