Subject: Misclassification of goods under ‘ Others’ category at the time of Import- reg.
Vide Trade Notice No. 46/2019 dated 17.01.2020 members of the Trade and Industry were advised to suggest appropriate HS codes for goods they are importing under ‘Others’ category where the existing HS codes are not sufficient. 2. To facilitate data collection and for quick analysis it is advised to submit the data online, in addition to any representation, in the form available on the link http://bit.do/dgfttn46 .Firms who have already given suggestions regarding ‘Others’ are also requested to fill the information in the given form. 3.
